About the book:
Considered one of the most eminent historians of his time, Teodoro A. Agoncillo broke new ground with his nationalistic approach to Philippine Historiography. This book presents conversations with Ambeth R. Ocampo, then a student of history, as Agoncillo narrates various aspects of his colorful life, in his trademark, no-nonsense manner. Ocampo’s crash course in Philippine historiography thus becomes our own, a means to re-evaluate the life, times and legacy of Teodoro A Agoncillo.
