About the book:
The book focuses on women artists Pelagia Mendoza, Carmen Zaragoza, Paz Paterno, and Adelaida Paterno and their works. These are women who had the opportunity to study drawing and painting and accomplished beyond what was expected of them. Sadly, these accomplishments went unnoticed. With this book, these fine women artists become significant contributors to Philippine art history.
