About the author:
Vivencio R. Jose, writer and educator, occupied various positions with the University of the Philippines- Diliman. He was the Chair of the Department of English and Comparative Literature, Dean of the College of Arts and Letters and Director of the UP Philippine Studies Program and director of the UP Press, University Secretary and a member of the Board of Regents. He has written extensively about Antonio Luna in other books and monographs.
