About the book:
Dr Acabado’s research findings show that the Ifugao rice terraces were a pericolonial phenomenon which became the fulcrum of an extremely resilient adaptation to Spanish colonization. Pericolonialism refers to groups who were not conquered by a foreign force, but show parallel culture change with groups who were directly colonized.
